As part of our continuous work on equality, diversity and inclusion, we updated our Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) policy in the academic year 2025-2026.

On this page you will find links to details about the topics and content that we teach in each year group; the latest draft of the new policy; and, a link to a questionnaire that you can use to send us your views.

• Parents/carers do not have the right to withdraw their child from relationships education. 

• Parents/carers have the right to withdraw their child from the non-statutory/non-science components of sex education within RSE.  

• Requests for withdrawal should be put in writing and addressed to the headteacher.  

• Alternative schoolwork will be given to pupils who are withdrawn from sex education. ​
