As part of our continuous work on equality, diversity and inclusion, we updated our Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) policy in the academic year 2025-2026.

On this page you will find links to details about the topics and content that we teach in each year group; the latest draft of the new policy; and, a link to a questionnaire that you can use to send us your views.

Parents/carers do not have the right to withdraw their child from relationships education.

Parents/carers have the right to withdraw their child from the non-statutory/non-science components of sex education within RSE.

Requests for withdrawal should be put in writing and addressed to the headteacher.

Alternative schoolwork will be given to pupils who are withdrawn from sex education. ​
