Wider Opening

Risk Assessment - in preparation for a wider reopening of the school, we undertook a thorough and detailed risk assessment to ensure the safety of pupils and staff. You can read a copy of this risk assessment here.

Parent Handbook - to support parents in bringing their children back to school, we have put together a guide about the new routines and systems that we have in place in school.

Before the closure, we sent home various letters and official guidelines, which can be found below:

Please let us know if you are a key worker and require the school to say open to look after your child.  The school can only stay open for children who have both parents as key workers or for lone parents and where there are no other care options for your family.

The definition of a key worker is available on the government's website here and includes NHS staff, teachers and nursery nurses, police officers, Community Support Officers and some civilian police staff, prison officers and some other prison staff, Probation Service staff, social workers, educational psychologists and therapists, Local Authority planners, firefighters, Connexions Personal Advisers, some Ministry of Defence personnel, Environmental Health Officer and Highways England Traffic Officers.

During the closure school will be staffed on a rotational basis, following government guidelines to keep staffing numbers as low as possible.
